My relationship with community schools continues, as I recently donated money to Lu Lu Stevens Elementary School for the Fall 2009 semester. Students with perfect attendance were awarded prizes purchased with the donation.Pictured with me is Lucy Anderson, the school's principal. Between us is the Perfect Attendance Board, which was set up so students could monitor their progress.
This is another in a series of donations to local elementary schools, including Lu Lu Stevens, Oak Forest and Garden Oaks, to encourage student commitment and involvement through attendance.
